Corporate OverviewEstablished in 1983, International Data Base Corporation ("IDBC"), which operates under the trade name BidNet, is a leading government bid aggregation and e-procurement service provider. In August 2004, IDBC was acquired by Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc. (TSX: MDF), a world-leading developer of e-business networks and provider of complete e-business solutions. It was founded in 1985 by a group of entrepreneurs with a vision of providing a centralized bid distribution and notification service to both government purchasing agencies and the companies who sell to them. The e-Procurement division was established in 2000 to create and manage websites that enable purchasing agencies to register their vendors and to deliver bid information directly to them.
